Why it works

Why it works

Dry brushing effectively detoxifies the body by stimulating the circulatory and lymphatic bodily systems. It also exfoliates the skin, removes dead skin cells, and heightens the body's ability to absorb the pain-relieving ingredients in After Flow.

After Flow body oil is an anti-inflammatory, non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) topical oil formulated to target the underlying cause of period pain. By increasing circulation and decreasing inflammation, the body is able to better regulate hormones that trigger intense cramping during your cycle.

The importance of dry brushing

The importance of dry brushing

Dry brushing amplifies the body’s ability to absorb healing ingredients, increase blood flow, regulate hormones and ease pain.

Supporting hormone health

Supporting hormone health

Increased blood flow can lower the intensity of PMS symptoms by preventing the build-up of prostaglandins and progesterone, the hormones responsible for menstrual-related mood swings and period cramps.

"This actually works! I’ve been having bad cramps and PMSing for the past week and decided to give this a shot in the morning before a shower. I use the brush for about 2-3 minutes, hop in a hot shower and massage the oil on my lower stomach and back after drying off. Feels like a spa treatment and it’s reduced my pain significantly."

How to use

Brush towards the heart, starting at the feet and working your way up your body. Using firm but gentle pressure, brush in short strokes or a continuous, small, circular motion. Apply After Flow liberally to re-moisturize the skin and reduce inflammation.

Or add 2-3 pumps to a warm bath while the water is running.

For use during your period, gently but firmly brush your abdominal area in a counterclockwise direction. Apply After Flow once finished.
